Ship it with Serverpod - Win three sessions with an engineer
Built something real on Serverpod? We want to see it, help it grow, and celebrate the team behind it.
Tell us what you've built and where you're taking it. The jury picks one product to back with three sessions with a Serverpod engineer, planned around a real problem you face. The winner also gets 12 months on the Serverpod Cloud Growth plan, up to $2,000 of credit, and a surprise for the whole team. Every eligible entry gets a code that covers the Growth plan fee for 3 months.
To enter, fill in a short form: a link to your product and two short answers. The link can be a store listing, a website, a TestFlight build, a demo video, or a repository. You have until November 9 at 23:59 CET.
Who can enter
Your product needs a Serverpod backend, and it has to be one of these:
- Live with real users.
- Built and ready to launch.
The backend can run anywhere: self-hosted, another provider, or Serverpod Cloud. If your product is still an idea or an early prototype, it's too early for this one.
What the winner gets
Three sessions with a Serverpod engineer, planned around you. Tell us what's in your way: a tricky backend problem, your data models, scaling, security, or how you deploy. We agree on one real challenge with you, plan three 1-hour sessions around it, and work through it with your team. You leave with clear next steps.
12 months on the Growth plan. We add $2,000 of Serverpod Cloud credit to your account. It pays for usage and platform fees for 12 months, up to $2,000 in total.
A surprise for your team. Something physical, to celebrate what you've shipped. We'll ask where to send it.
What every eligible entry gets
3 months of the Growth plan fee. A promo code for $60 of credit, which covers the $20 monthly platform fee for 3 months. Usage is billed as normal, the plan needs a card on file, and the fee renews at the normal price after 3 months unless you cancel.
How to win
Three people from the Serverpod team score every entry on three things, weighted equally:
- Traction: real users, usage, or other evidence that people want it.
- Plan: a clear, credible answer to "Where are you taking this?"
- What you'd do with it: how the prize would help you reach your next milestone.
Numbers beat adjectives. "1,200 weekly users" tells the jury more than "growing fast". We announce the winner on November 17.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Serverpod Cloud account?
No. You can enter without one, and your backend doesn't have to run on Serverpod Cloud. The winner needs an account to use the credit.
What are the terms of the prize?
The three 1-hour video sessions are for your team and take place within 6 months of the announcement. They're advice on your product and how it uses Serverpod and Serverpod Cloud. They don't include building features or ongoing support.
The $2,000 of credit pays for usage and platform fees, and it expires 12 months after we add it to your account.
We choose the surprise and send it to the address you give us. If we can't ship to your country, we offer something of similar value instead.
What are the terms of the participant offer?
After judging, we email every eligible entrant a promo code for $60 of credit for Serverpod Cloud platform fees. That pays the Growth plan fee of $20 per month for 3 months.
- You can redeem the code once per account, by December 1, 2026. The credit is valid for 3 months from the day you redeem it.
- The credit pays platform fees only. Usage, such as compute, database, and storage, is billed at normal prices.
- The Growth plan needs a payment card on file.
- When the credit runs out, the platform fee is billed at the normal price each month until you cancel or change plan. You cancel by deleting the project.
Who can enter?
Anyone 18 or older, except Serverpod employees, contractors, board members, and their families and households. You can enter for your company if you're authorized to accept the rules on its behalf. Each product can be entered once, so pick one person to enter for the team. Some countries and regions are excluded, and sanctions rules apply. Section 3 of the official rules has the full list.
